best saturday

So this morning the girls woke us up by jumping on daddy in our bed. We stayed in bed for a good 45 min playing and hiding under the covers. Haley then made everyone eggs, ashley got the strawberries, daddy drinks* and i made the toast. We all sat in the living room watching cartoons. About 10 am we got dressed and cleaned the garage! We spent a little time with family. I took Haley to get a big sister ice cream. I made the mistake of watching Little Monsters with the girls, Haley was fine but Ashley has been rough to get to bed the past few nights.
So for Haley being a great big sister and staying calm in her bed with ashley running in and out screaming she got an ice cream. The first night Ashley and I slept on  the couch together then the next night she screamed and continued to come out of her room, nick worked with her and finally got her to sleep. It was so cute, he was so sweet and understanding with her and didnt get frustrated at all. So last night I put the girls down and sat by nick on the couch, ashley starts crying, within minutes in coming down the hall, sees nick realizes she is not going to win, turns around stops crying, walks back to bed and goes to sleep! Tonight she went to bed perfect as normal.
Then to top off the night nick leaves the entire garage out in the drive way to go get help from our friends around the corner. of course I then need to stay and keep an eye on everything. Abit after he leaves, here comes my friend (the wife of nicks friend around the corner) and their 2 yr old to come hang out with us! It was a good day!

*ALSO nick just pointed out that earlier in this post I made him sound like an alcoholic. The girls get breakfast ready and daddy drinks! hahaha Ok so I meant he got drinks for everyone.

Haley is doing good. She is getting alot more tired, and she has itchies, which means she itches, but there is nothing there until she scratches then it will turn red and swell up. I have tried ointments, an oatmeal bath (which worked for the night), then got benedryl today. It didnt seem to do much though. The pharmacist whom I have to call anytime haley takes anything new, said if that doesnt clear it up we need to call her doctor to make sure its not anything related to meds or harmful.....great and tomorrow is sunday. Good thing our doc is awesome enough to give us his personal number. I think all is well though.

Ok so I finally got some pictures that show a heart and haleys heart.

This is the normal heart, the shaded area is the oxygenated blood

coming from the lungs out to the body. The non shaded is non oxygenated the blood
from body to the lungs, the pulmonary side.

 This is Haleys heart, I cant illustrate the blood flow but if you can imagine, if the pressures are the same the blood flow will pretty much stay on the correct side, but as the pressures (or resistance) gets lower on the pulmonary (non shaded side) the blood (shaded) will start to fall through the holes. Which causes an over flow of blood getting pushed into her lungs.

If you can see the two holes in the bottom area, that is the Ventricular Septal Defects.

The area that is connected at the top center is the Patent Ductus Arterious,

Im guessing that is greek for open duct in the artery.
