These past few weeks have been more hectic then usual. FYI the I heart Haley garage sale will NOT be in March. I havent even had a second to think about it. I need to start planning and getting all the things together now though. Hopefully it will be the first weekend in April. Her next Rx refill is coming up soon! :-)
On the plus side
this week we were able to get the smaller oxygen tanks so Haley doesnt have to drag around the one that is as big as she is, plus stairs will be easier. These tanks have regulators on them so she only gets oxygen when she breathes in and we had to make sure she could activate it. any way it is in a little pack she insists on calling a purse.
This past friday she was sent home from school, before school even started, because she threw up on the play ground. She told me it was because her friends made her laugh to hard. It was true. They made her laugh which led to coughing which is normal for her to lead to throwing up. The next day we went to the teamASHER silent auction, which by the way was amazing! We let Haley take her oxygen off to go in the jumping house and she went about 2 minutes, started coughing and got sick. Luckily it was towards the end and most of the kids were gone. and we made it to the trash. We noticed if she doesnt have her oxygen on and she moves too fast she will start coughing and then get sick. She has no signs of being sick though, like a cold or anything. Her O2 levels were around 89 to 92 this weekend and that was with her oxygen on.
We still dont have a date for the next catheter. I will be emailing the doctor today. I am wondering if the coughing fits could be a sign of further heart failure. I really like to know things, and it is a challenge for me to have a child with a rare disease that I cannot get definite answers for.
We finally got the kitchen floor finished and the wall painted! So now I still walk into the living room to get the eggs then I remember the fridge is back in the kitchen!
So I started P90x. Haley and Ashley do it with me in the morning. Haley does pretty good, I am mostly trying to get her to be ok with doing HER best, you dont always have to be like everyone else. I am a good example for her, but when I can keep up she is yelling come on mom you can do it your like one of those boys (talking about the muscley men on the DVD) haha. Ashley apparently thinks when I do push ups I am failing at summer saults. She always comes next to me and trys to show me how to do them. Good Times.
