Pulmonology

Tomorrow morning we have an appointment with a pulmonlogist. It will be our first one. This doctor came from Texas Childrens and Haley cardiologist highly recommended her and said she would have the most experience with pulmonary hypertension. Her appointment setter called me wednesday and said our cardiologist told her we needed to get in asap. I am assuming whatever tests we are going to do will have an impact on our decision.


 I had a rough night tonight. I was done crying and you couldnt tell that I had been, then I went into Haleys room. She asked if I could play with her, I said not right now because we needed to make make dinner. She asked if I could play tomorrow and I said yes, she said can you play with me everyday. I said yes everyday. Haley then made me promise. Then I just got sad again, Of course I would rather do nothing else but hang out and play all day with my girls and Nick. Life gets busy and I forget to stop and sit and play. I need to get a poster to hang in my house that says dont waste time. or something like that.

So I tried to stop my tears before she saw but I couldnt. She gave me a hug and asked, I just told her I was having one of those nights. She rubbed my back and shhh'ed me telling me it was going to be ok. She then had a great idea on something that would make me feel better, she went and got a random bunny for me. Then she wrote me a note saying Mom I hop vat uo fra blbr. (Mom I hope that you feel better.) She does really well sounding out words until she gets distracted by dad. I love my Haley. she is a caretaker.

This week has been/ is insanly busy. Haley missed some school. Tuesday dr appt, wednesday channel 12 interview (watch tomorrow 4 pm!) thursday funeral, friday pulmonology appt, saturday KID TO KID SALE! Sunday HopeKids offered tickets to monster trucks, we are taking the girls, Haley will be so excited we have talked about monster trucks pretty much her whole life but havent had the chance to take her. Thank you HopeKids! I think Monday we will have a PJ/movie day and be lazy until afternoon when Haley goes to school.

I am so excited about Saturday. Not only help for Haley and our family but Kid to Kid wants to start doing these days for other families every once in a while. I am excited for the store to get more customers so they can be successful and help out other families like they have ours.
